Apple offers no interest EMI on select Macs and iPads for students and teachers

Apple has rolled out new financing options on its Education Store, enabling students and educators to buy select Mac and iPad models through no interest EMI plans for a limited period.

The company said the offer will run until Feb 23 and is available to eligible students, teachers, and parents. Buyers can combine no interest EMI options with Apple’s Education Savings, which effectively reduces the overall price of select devices.

On Apple’s online Education Store, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models are available with no interest EMI plans for tenures of 3, 6, 9, and 12 months. For iPads, the iPad (A16) and iPad Air can be purchased with no interest EMI options for 3 and 6 months.

While Education Savings apply to a wider range of products, including the Mac mini and iPad Pro, the no interest EMI facility is limited to the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iPad (A16), and iPad Air. Apple said access to Education Store pricing and offers requires verification through UNiDAYS.

Under the current offer, the MacBook Pro with M5, M4 Pro, or M4 Max chips is priced from ₹169,900, with the education price starting at ₹159,900.

The MacBook Air with the M4 chip starts at ₹99,900, reduced to ₹89,900 with Education Savings. Both models are eligible for no interest EMI plans of up to 12 months.

The iPad Air with the M3 chip is priced from ₹59,900, with an education price of ₹54,900, while the iPad (A16) starts at ₹34,900 and drops to ₹32,900 with Education Savings. Both iPad models are offered with no interest EMI options for 3 and 6 months.

To access the offers, users must add an eligible Mac or iPad to their cart on the Apple Education Store and proceed to checkout.

Apple will prompt them to verify through UNiDAYS, after which they must complete the process using an institutional email ID or other required credentials.
