Congress MP from Wayanad, Rahul Gandhi, declared his total assets worth over Rs 20 crore in his nomination papers.
Rahul on Wednesday filed his nomination papers after conducting a roadshow where he was accompanied by his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra among other Congress leaders.

According to the affidavit, Rahul Gandhi has ₹55,000 in cash and a total income of ₹1,02,78,680 during the financial year 2022-23.
But the Gandhi scion does not own any vehicle or residential flat. He has declared about ₹ 9.24 crore in movable assets and immovable property is valued at around Rs 11.14 crore.
This includes ₹ 55,000 cash, ₹ 26.25 lakh in bank deposits, ₹ 4.33 crore in bonds and shares, ₹ 3.81 crore in mutual funds, ₹ 15.21 lakh in gold bonds and jewellery worth ₹ 4.20 lakh, reported NDTV.
Gandhi also declared liabilities worth Rs 49.79 lakh in his election affidavit. Among the immovable assets, these include agricultural land in Delhi's Mehrauli that he co-owns with sister and Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the report said.
Gandhi also owns office space in Gurugram, currently valued at over ₹ 9 crore. While the agricultural land has been mentioned as inherited property, the office space is not.
Rahul had won the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in the 2019 general election. This time, he will be contesting against CPI leader Annie Raja and state BJP chief K Surendran in the high-profile contest scheduled for April 26.
