President Donald Trump claims three technical failures during his recent UN visit were deliberate acts of sabotage, prompting calls for an investigation.

During his recent visit to the United Nations General Assembly on Sep 23 President Donald Trump encountered three technical issues: an escalator malfunction, a teleprompter failure, and audio problems during his speech.
He described these incidents as "triple sabotage" and demanded an investigation, suggesting they were intentional disruptions.

The UN clarified that the escalator's abrupt stop was due to a built-in safety mechanism, not sabotage. A UN spokesperson explained that the mechanism is designed to halt the escalator if irregular loads or motion are detected, ensuring passenger safety.
The teleprompter issues were attributed to technical difficulties, and the audio problems were acknowledged as glitches.
Despite the UN's explanations, President Trump maintained his stance, expressing concern over the timing and nature of the incidents. He emphasized the need for a thorough investigation to determine if foul play was involved.
The White House has reportedly instructed relevant agencies to prepare for a comprehensive review of the events, aiming to ensure transparency and accountability.
As of now, the investigation is ongoing, and no official conclusions have been drawn regarding the nature of the technical failures.
