The platform will monitor question paper handling, answer script dispatch, incident reporting, and post-exam services while enabling state-level supervision and secure online student applications.

Kerala has introduced a QR code based mobile application to digitally monitor higher secondary examinations, aiming to strengthen security and bring greater transparency to the process ahead of exams beginning March 5.
Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education, known as KITE, rolled out the app titled KITE QTrack to enable real-time tracking of examination procedures.

The system covers every stage, from the opening of sealed question paper packets at exam centers to the dispatch of answer scripts to valuation camps.
The higher secondary examination wing has issued a circular instructing all chief and deputy chief superintendents to download the KITE QTrack app from the Android Play Store and complete the login process before March 4.
KITE CEO K Anvar Sadath said the initiative is part of a broader plan to modernize the examination management system. He stated that the platform is being developed to fully automate processes ranging from student admissions to the publication of results.
He added that post-examination services, including the issuance of duplicate certificates, applications for revaluation, and scrutiny requests, will also be integrated into the digital system. With secure online payment options built in, students will be able to submit applications entirely through the platform.
Under the new protocol, officials are required to update the app at every critical stage on exam days. Entries must begin as soon as question paper packets are taken out of storage. If a packet for the wrong subject is scanned, the system will immediately display an error message and automatically report the issue as an incident to the examination wing.
Authorities must also record the start and end times of each examination within the prescribed schedule. Dedicated login credentials have been provided to higher secondary regional deputy directors to enable state-level supervision.
When answer scripts are dispatched to valuation camps, details such as track ID, weight, and dispatch time must be entered into the application. The platform also allows instant reporting of malpractice or technical problems encountered during examinations.
Along with the circular, officials have been given a user guide, and a video tutorial has been made available on the KITE VICTERS YouTube channel. District level online training sessions for concerned personnel will begin tomorrow, conducted by KITE master trainers.
