The scholarship includes a large portion of the UC MBA course fees and one-on-one mentoring with a New Zealand business leader.

The University of Canterbury (UC) will now offer MBA Leaders Scholarship for a further four years till 2030.
The scholarship will provide the recipients with global opportunities and a broader perspective on leadership and innovation.

The scholars will get an opportunity to partner with institutions such as Stanford University in the United States and Aalto University in Finland.
This will include the awardees opting for Stanford’s renowned Design Thinking paper, allowing them to foster international networks, aid in knowledge exchange, and build leadership skills.
The scholarship includes a large portion of the UC MBA course fees and one-on-one mentoring with a New Zealand business leader.
It will also provide an international experience grant for global learning opportunities along with an experiential Outward Bound Courage in Leadership course.
Launched in 2021, the Gough Family Foundation MBA Leaders Scholarship is offered to three exceptional candidates enrolled in UC’s MBA program at Te Kura Umanga at UC Business School.
The students are selected based on their commercial capability, leadership potential, character and commitment to creating a positive impact.
