After being discharged from the hospital, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan returned to Mumbai on May 23. He had suffered from a heat stroke, so he was admitted to the hospital in Ahmedabad.
“Khan has been discharged from the hospital this evening (May 23). He left for the airport from the hospital,” said Ahmedabad (Rural) Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Jat.
Due to a heat stroke, superstar Shah Rukh Khan was admitted to KD Hospital in Ahmedabad on May 22. The actor was in Ahmedabad for the Indian Premier League (IPL) match to support his team, the Kolkata Knight Riders, against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Narendra Modi Stadium on May 21.
Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla said that “Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night (May 21), but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team as we play the finals."
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported that Ahmedabad had a maximum temperature of 45.2 °C on May 21 during a "heatwave."
After defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Qualifier 1, SRK's team, KKR, entered the IPL Final. In a dramatic twist, KKR and SRH will face off in the final on May 26 in Chennai.
