
New Delhi: Power Sector Skill Council (PSSC) has signed an MoU with ICA India, the International Copper Association Limited (ICA)is like an arm for India and is responsible for enhancing the quality of the trainers/ training and candidates. An MoU was signed in a blended meeting by Mr. Ravi P Singh, CEO of PSSC and Mr. Mayur Karmakar, Managing Director of ICA India in/at Plot No. 4, Institutional Area, Malcha Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
The MoU seeks to jointly address the opportunities for skilling the upcoming Talented Youths from all segments of society along with improving the quality of trainer/ training. It will also promote the activities of PSSC by doing publicity.

Mr. Ravi P Singh called this collaboration ‘historic’ and ‘path setting’ for all others. Mr. Mayur Karmakar said such initiatives are the need of the hour.
ICA India, a not-for-profit, non-commercial organization, works to promote electrical safety, energy efficiency, power quality & sustainability. However, PSSC has been actively engaged in the skill training and certification to the youth for the Power Industry and pursuing an ambitious target of over 4 million workforces over the next decade.
On this occasion Ravi P Singh said: “The achievement of an organization are the results of the combined effort of each individual.’’
Mr. Mayur Karmakar- Managing Director, ICA assured PSSC to support all the latest. “The five separate fingers are five independent units. Close them and the fist multiplies strength. This is an organization.’’
