The Directorate of Education invites government school teachers to apply for transfers to 75 upcoming CM Shri schools, featuring smart classrooms and NEP-aligned learning tools.

In a move to strengthen its upcoming CM Shri schools, the Delhi government has initiated a recruitment process to appoint teachers across 75 institutions expected to become operational within a year.
The Directorate of Education has called for applications from serving government school teachers seeking transfers to these schools.

As outlined in an official circular, vacancies are available for Postgraduate Teachers (PGTs), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), Primary Teachers (PRTs), and other teaching positions.
"Interested teachers must submit their applications through e-mail by June 9, 11:59 pm. Applicants should have at least five years remaining until retirement," the circular stated.
Interface sessions for applicants will be held on June 11 for PRT and TGT candidates and on June 12 for PGT and miscellaneous teaching posts. Each session is scheduled to begin at 10 am.
According to an official, 12 schools under this initiative will be entirely reconstructed, while the other 63 will operate out of existing government school buildings upgraded to CM Shri standards.
The CM Shri schools, inspired by the central government's PM Shri model, were introduced in the Delhi Budget 2025-26 with a dedicated allocation of ₹100 crore.
These schools are designed to reflect the goals of the National Education Policy 2020 and integrate the National Curriculum Framework 2023.
The project emphasizes advanced infrastructure, including smart classrooms, AI-enabled learning solutions, and specialized courses in fields such as data science and robotics.
