IIT BHU's 2024-25 placement season saw around 1,120 job offers and more than 400 internships across diverse industries, with top recruiters including Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Tata Steel, Samsung, Oracle, and more.

The Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) secured around 1,120 job offers and more than 400 internship opportunities in the 2024-25 placement season.
The highest CTC reached ₹2.20 crore per annum, with the average package at ₹22.80 lakh.

The director, Prof Amit Patra said, “These placement results reinforce our position as a premier institute producing industry-ready professionals. Our students’ talent and our commitment to excellence continue to attract top-tier recruiters.”
“As we continue our placement season, we remain dedicated to fostering strong industry partnerships and providing our students with unparalleled professional development opportunities,” he added.
The IIT BHU placement drive has seen participation from a wide range of industries, including technology, consulting, finance, and core engineering.
Notable recruiters in the recent session include Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Tata Steel, Amazon, DataBricks, ITC, Samsung, Oracle, Walmart, Qualcomm, and others.
The first phase of placements ran from Nov 30 to Dec 12, 2024, with CTCs ranging from ₹10 lakh to ₹1.65 crore.
The second phase began in early Jan 2025 and will continue until April 30, 2025.
Comprehensive graduate outcome data, including job offers and placements across industries, will be released by May 30, 2025, offering a complete overview of the placement season’s success.
