A loud blast was heard near the CRPF School in Rohini’s Sector 14 early on Oct 20 prompting police and bomb squad to rush to the spot.
“Today, at around 7:47 am, the police received a PCR call that a blast with a loud noise took place near the CRPF school in Rohini’s Sector 14,” the police were quoted as saying.

Forensic teams along with the Delhi Police Special Cell rushed to the location to identify what caused the blast.
"Crime team, FSL team and bomb disposal squad are called on the spot. The crime spot has been cordoned off. The fire brigade team is on the spot. The matter is being looked into on the cause of the blast," they added.
The blast took place near the CRPF school at Prashant Vihar at 7.47 am. Senior police officer Amit Goel was quoted as saying that experts have been called to investigate the cause of the blast.
Later, police said there's nothing suspicious yet and the underground sewage line is being examined as part of the probe.
The blast damaged the wall of the school but no casualties have been reported.
"The glasses of the nearby shop and a car parked near the shop were damaged. However, no one was injured,” an official said.
A cloud of smoke billowing from near the blast site is seen in a video recorded by a resident near the accident spot.
According to the eyewitnesses, a loud bang was heard and a cloud of smoke was visible afterwards.
Residents have said the explosion had shattered window panes of cars parked near the school and damaged the signboards of shops in the area.
The National Security Guard has also been informed and a team may visit the spot. Police sources suspect a crude bomb could be behind the blast.
Earlier this year, over 100 schools in Delhi had received bomb threats, but they all turned out to be hoax emails.
