Union Cabinet approves 2 rail projects worth ₹ 6,798 crore in 3 states

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approved the doubling of the Narkatiaganj-Raxaul-Sitamarhi-Darbhanga and Sitamarhi-Muzaffarpur section in Bihar covering 256 km. It also approved construction of a new line between Errupalem and Namburu via Amaravati covering 57 km.
