The initiative, announced at the India AI Impact Summit, includes access to curriculum, training, and certifications through accredited institutions in partnership with the Government of India.

Adobe has announced free access to its Firefly, Photoshop, and Acrobat applications for Indian students through accredited higher education institutions, expanding its AI-focused education initiatives in the country.
The announcement was made at the India AI Impact Summit. In partnership with the Government of India, Adobe said its AI-first offering and industry-endorsed curriculum will be provided at no cost to 15,000 schools and 500 colleges that are being equipped with content creator labs.

According to the company, students will gain access to creativity and productivity tools along with structured curriculum, training, and credentials aimed at improving employability after graduation.
As part of the initiative, students will be introduced to Adobe’s generative AI framework, including tools designed to produce commercially safe AI-generated content.
The applications will also allow users to integrate and work with other generative AI models within the platform.
Adobe is also extending its Digital Academy program in collaboration with NASSCOM FutureSkills Prime, a digital skilling initiative supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. The partnership will offer free industry-aligned courses and certifications to learners across India.
The program is expected to build AI-driven creative and productivity skills across sectors such as graphic design, animation, video and visual effects, gaming, marketing, media, e-commerce, education, and technology.
“Adobe is expanding the opportunity for creativity for millions of students across India, empowering them with AI skills, further accelerating Prime Minister Modi’s vision,” said Shantanu Narayen, Chair and CEO, Adobe.
