Commonwealth Masters Scholarship Selection Process
In response to the Public Notice dated May 3rd, 2023, regarding the Commonwealth Masters Scholarship nominations, it is imperative to clarify certain aspects pertaining to the selection process. The scholarships, tenable in the United Kingdom and awarded by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC), have been subject to misconceptions regarding the involvement of the Government of India in the selection and award process.
It is hereby clarified that the Government of India plays no role in the selection and award of these prestigious scholarships. The process is solely administered and overseen by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission.

The notice further elucidates that out of the 39 students initially nominated, a total of 10 students have been successfully awarded scholarships by the CSC. The list of the recipients is enclosed herewith.
This clarification serves to ensure transparency and accuracy regarding the Commonwealth Masters Scholarship program and emphasizes the independent selection process carried out by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission.
