IIM Bangalore Elevates its Global Standing, Ranks 32nd in QS World University Rankings for Business and Management Studies

IIM Bangalore Soars to 32nd Rank in QS World University
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore has achieved a remarkable feat in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings By Subject 2024, securing the 32nd position globally for Business and Management Studies. This significant leap marks a substantial improvement from its previous rank of 61, solidifying its reputation as a premier institution in the field.
Expressing his delight at the achievement, Prof. Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director of IIM Bangalore, emphasized the institute's unwavering commitment to providing an exceptional learning experience and nurturing future leaders. He underscored the institute's focus on holistic growth and the development of strong, visionary individuals poised to drive meaningful change.

The QS methodology, which evaluates factors like Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Citations per Paper, and H-index citations, awarded IIM Bangalore an impressive overall score of 81.2 out of 100 points. Particularly noteworthy were its high scores in Employer Reputation (84.8) and Citations per Paper (82) categories.
Securing the second position among Indian institutes for Business and Management studies, IIM Bangalore's stellar performance further cements its position as a leading global hub for management education. With the 2024 edition of the QS World University Rankings showcasing 55 individual subjects across five broad subject areas, IIM Bangalore's achievement reflects its unwavering dedication to academic excellence and research innovation on a global scale.
