IIT Madras Launches India's First Mobile Medical Devices Calibration Facility

Developed under the ambit of IITM's 'Anaivarukkum IITM' (IITM for all) initiative, this pioneering endeavor aims to revolutionize the calibration and maintenance of life-saving medical equipment.

The inauguration ceremony, held today (April 15th, 2024) on the IIT Madras campus, was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries including Prof. V. Kamakoti, Director of IIT Madras, Prof. R. Sarathi, Dean (Planning), Prof. M. Anbarasu (Head, CEC), along with faculty and students.

Prof. V. By introducing this mobile calibration facility, we not only mitigate the costs associated with calibration but also address the logistical challenges of transportation and time.
