JEE Main Session 2 Results: Telangana Dominates with 15 Toppers Scoring Perfect 100 Percentile, Gender Disparity Persists

JEE Main Session 2 Result 2024 declared.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results for JEE Main Session 2, revealing that 56 students have achieved a flawless 100 percentile. Among these top performers, 15 hail from Telangana, marking a notable surge compared to last year's seven candidates from the state who secured the perfect score.
This year's results also highlight a gender disparity, with only two females among the 56 students in the coveted JEE topper list for 2024. Candidates who appeared in the examination can access their results on the official website – jeemain.nta.ac.in.

A total of 11,79,569 students participated in the JEE Main second session exam, including 373,515 female candidates, 8,06,045 male candidates, and 9 individuals identifying as transgender. Additionally, 3369 students with disabilities took the exam, comprising 2625 females and 2625 males.
The list of candidates achieving a perfect NTA score in Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) includes students from various states across India. Telangana, Maharashtra, and Delhi emerge as the top-performing states, with 15, 7, and 6 candidates respectively achieving the 100 percentile in JEE Advanced 2024.
The notification also indicates an increase in the JEE Advanced 2024 cut-offs for all categories. The minimum cut-off for the general category stands at 93.2 percentile, followed by 81.32 for EWS, 79.6 for OBC, 60.09 for SC, and 46.69 for ST.
This year's JEE Main results reaffirm the competitive spirit and academic prowess of students nationwide, setting the stage for their future academic endeavors and aspirations in the field of engineering.
