Delhi Police initiated an investigation after three individuals attempted to breach Parliament security with counterfeit IDs.

The Delhi Police have arrested three individuals who attempted to gain unauthorized access to the Parliament complex using counterfeit Aadhaar cards.
The incident, which took place on June 4, involved three laborers who presented fake identification documents at one of the entry gates.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel, intercepted the trio as they tried to enter the premises on a casual entry pass.
The suspects, identified as Kasim, Monis, and Soyeb, all hailing from Uttar Pradesh, were found to be in possession of Aadhaar cards with discrepancies.
Notably, Monis and Kasim both presented Aadhaar cards bearing the same number but with different photographs, raising immediate red flags.
Upon their detention, the Delhi Police launched a thorough investigation, booking the individuals under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including forgery, cheating by personation, criminal conspiracy, and using forged documents.
The police statement highlighted the seriousness of the breach and the ongoing efforts to tighten security measures.
The contractor responsible for hiring the laborers, Sahnawaj Alam, is also under scrutiny as the investigation progresses.
The police have emphasized that such attempts to undermine the security of critical national infrastructure will be met with stringent legal action.
