Field Marshal Asim Munir issued a chilling nuclear warning from US soil, pledging mass destruction if Pakistan faces an existential threat — a rare and provocative escalation in nuclear rhetoric.

During a recent public engagement in Tampa, Florida, Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, issued one of the most striking nuclear threats in recent memory.
Addressing the audience, Munir stated, “We are a nuclear nation. If we think we are going down, we’ll take half the world down with us.”

In the same speech, he targeted infrastructure tied to India’s water security, specifically referencing the Indus water channels. He warned that should India proceed with building dams on these channels, Pakistan would respond with missile strikes.
“We will destroy it with ten missiles…We have no shortage of missiles, al-hamdulillah (praise be to God),” Munir declared — intensifying the severity of his remarks.
The remarks were made during what was described as a private dinner hosted by Tampa-based businessman and honorary consul, Adnan Asad.
Reports indicate approximately 120 attendees were present, and the environment was tightly controlled — participants were not allowed to carry cell phones or digital devices.
This event marks Munir’s second trip to the US in two months, underscoring his elevated status in Pakistan’s leadership.
During his earlier visit, he had met with US President Donald Trump for a private luncheon, during which he reportedly proposed nominating Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize over his role in brokering a ceasefire in the India-Pakistan conflict.
