Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026: PM Modi to interact with students nationwide on Feb 6

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with students across India during the ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha, scheduled for February 6 at 10 am, as the examination season approaches.

Organized by the Ministry of Education, the annual program focuses on helping students manage exam stress, improve preparation strategies, and address concerns related to academics and personal growth.

This year’s format expands the interaction by connecting students from multiple locations simultaneously, a departure from earlier editions that were held at a single venue in New Delhi.

Students from Devmogra, Coimbatore, Raipur, and Guwahati have already taken part in interactions and met the Prime Minister at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi.

The revised format was introduced last year to broaden participation and reflect the nationwide reach of the initiative.

Students from Class 6 onward, along with teachers and parents, are eligible to participate. The program will be broadcast live on DD National, DD News, DD India, several private television channels, and All India Radio.

It will also stream on digital platforms run by the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Education, Doordarshan, and MyGov, including YouTube, Facebook Live, and Swayam Prabha channels.

Since its launch in 2018, Pariksha Pe Charcha has been held every year ahead of board examinations, which typically begin in mid-February. Major entrance tests, including JEE Main, are scheduled for April.

Registration levels for PPC 2026 remain high. Official figures show registrations from 41,914,056 students, 2,484,259 teachers, and 615,064 parents, taking total registrations to more than 4.5 crore.

In addition, over 2.26 crore people have participated in related activities, bringing total engagement this year to more than 6.76 crore.

The program is part of the government’s broader Exam Warriors campaign, which aims to reduce exam pressure and promote healthy coping mechanisms.

Participants receive official acknowledgements, and selected winners are invited to attend future events.

Ahead of the broadcast, PM Modi invited citizens to watch the special episode. In a social media post, he said, “As the Parikshas are approaching, #ParikshaPeCharcha is back too! This time, the Charcha happened with #ExamWarriors in Devmogra, Coimbatore, Raipur, Guwahati, and at 7 LKM in Delhi. As always, it is refreshing to interact with my young friends and discuss stress free exams and several other things. Do watch the PPC Episode on 6th February!”

The PM described the interactions as refreshing and inspiring, highlighting the enthusiasm and openness of students while stressing the importance of stress free examinations, balance, and self-confidence.
